Hosea Chapters 5 & 6 Star Charts: Clockwise from when "Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke" (open mouth in Cancer -- 745 B.C.) (5:9) and God will "be unto Ephraim as a (Cancer) moth" (5:12) in 745 B.C. (ten-tribed Israel is likened to the ten-limbed Crab or moth), we add "a month" of 28 days for Leo to "devour them" which are years from 745 to 718 B.C. (5:7). That puts the red sun meat in Leo's stomach. From the red sun meat in Leo we add 180° years to 718 B.C. to arrive at 538 B.C. where a white full moon is in Aquarius. "The princes of Judah were like them that remove the (white lunar stone) bound: therefore I will pour out my (red blood radius line) wrath upon them like water" (Aquarius has the stone moved twice from its original position) (5:10). "Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath (red radius line) torn (745 & 721-718 B.C.), and he will heal us (538-535 B.C.); he hath (red radius line) smitten, and he will bind us up (with white lunar bandages to stop the bleeding). After two days (538-536) will he revive us: in the third day (535) he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight" (6:1-2).

In 745 B.C., Tiglath-Pileser (called "Pul" in the Bible -- 2 Kings 15:19; 1 Chr.5:26), the king of Assyria, began the first invasion against Israel in the reign of Menahem (2 Ki.15:19-20) and forced Israel to pay tribute. From 721 to 718 B.C., Shalmaneser (Leo) beseiged Samaria three years in the reign of Hoshea (2 Ki.17:3-5). "In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and Habor by the river of Gozan, in the cities of the Medes" (2 Ki.17:6). This invasion terminated the Kingdom of Israel and 27,280 Israelites were led captive (see Sargon's Assyrian inscription). But Sargon didn't remove the entire nation of Israelites (see 2 Ki. 18:9-12; 2 Chr.30-31 & 34; cp. Hos.1:4 with 1:6). But if we add 180° years to 718 B.C., we arrive at 538 B.C. which was Cyrus' first year (Ezra 1:1) when he decreed that the Jews go to Jerusalem and build God's Temple. Zerubbabel was part of the first wave of Jewish captives to return to Jerusalem (Ezra 1:1-2). These Jews said, "Come and let us return unto the Lord; for he hath torn (Leo), and he will heal us (with white lunar bandages to stop the bleeding). After two days will he revive us (536 B.C. Temple foundation laid): in the third day he will raise us up (535 B.C. -- the end of the 70-year punishment), and we shall live in his sight" (Hos. 6:1-2). This put the LUNAR lid on God's poured-out wrath (5:10).

Jeremiah 25:10 says "these nations shall serve the king of Babylon 70 years" (Jer. 25:11; Lev. 26:33-35; 2 Chr. 36:21) and "After 70 years are accomplished at Babylon, I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return even unto this place" (Jer. 29:10). From 604 under Jehoiakim's reign to 535 B.C when the exiles returned after the decree of Cyrus (Ezra 1:1-3) is 70 years. Incidentally, 538 B.C. + 1000 years (a day) + 1000 years (a day) = 1461 A.D. + 565 years (in the third day) = 2026 when "he will raise us up" in a resurrection and "we shall live in his sight" forever.

He Hath Torn, and He Will Heal

5:1 Hear ye this (Cancer ear), O priests; and hearken (Cancer ear), ye house of Israel; and give ye ear (Cancer ear), O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

2 And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all (open mouth in Cancer).

3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest (red radius line) whoredom, and Israel is defiled.

4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the Lord.

5 And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.

6 They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the Lord; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.

7 They have dealt treacherously against the Lord: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month (of 28 years) devour them with their portions.

8 Blow ye the (red radius line with red bell end) cornet in Gibeah, and the (red radius line with red bell end) trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven (Cancer's open sun mouth crying), after thee, O Benjamin.

9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke (open mouth in Cancer -- 745 B.C.): among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.

10 The princes of Judah were like them that remove the (white lunar stone) bound: therefore I will pour out my (red radius line) wrath upon them like water (Aquarius).

11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

12 Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth (Zebra Swallowtail), and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound (red sun in Cancer), then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your (red sun) wound.

14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion (Leo), and as a young lion (Leo Minor) to the house of Judah: I, even I, will (red radius line) tear and go away (rotate under the horizon); I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

6:1 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn (745 & 721-718 B.C.), and he will heal us (538-535 B.C.); he hath smitten, and he will bind us up (white lunar patches).

2 After two days (538-536) will he revive us: in the third day (535) he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the (red radius line) words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.

6 For I desired mercy, and not (bloody sun) sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than (bloody sun) burnt offerings.

7 But they like men have (red radius line) transgressed the covenant: there have they (red radius line) dealt treacherously against me.

8 Gilead is a city of them that work (red radius line) iniquity, and is polluted with (red radius line) blood.

9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests (red radius line) murder in the way by consent: for they commit (red radius line) lewdness.

10 I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the (red radius line) whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.

11 Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.
